RE: The Creation of Mankind (Poll and Opinions)
How about the "infinite" theory that says that life was always there and was never technically "created". If i were to have a guess i would probably go for the meteorite theory....

RE: change display picture
I think it is done using MyProperty in the Messenger API. i don't know C++ but the VB equivalent is something like this
MSN.MyProperty(2) = "path_to_DP"
assuming MSN is the Messenger object

RE: delaying the parsecommand function
Can't say i know VB.net well but i still would have thought it would've worked. Anyway this should take care of it, although its not the best way of doing it. in a module:
Public StopThingy As boolean
' in ParseCommand
StopThin...

RE: Sending a File (VB)

RE: Sending a File (VB)

RE: Strict and loose filtering
I think i get it. He wants 2 to change into "two" if its on its own but not filter if the number 2 is in the middle of a word. Thats strict. "I want 2" Would change into "I Want two" "I want 6002" wouldn't change at all it would stay "I wa...

RE: send an instant message
I think he means the "Send an Instant Message..." window and instead of having screen names it would have custom names. And i think it has the same problem as the "Sort Contacts by Custom Name" suggestion. [s]Probably possible but w...

RE: Sponsor, toolbars, and auto-updates
I don't think there is anything wrong with the sponsor installation window, patchou has done more than enough to make it obvious to the user (assuming they read it). the only thing that i, personally would do, is give the sponsor its own entry in th...
