I believe it wasn't possible in the past, but I was wondering if it is as yet possible to read and/or change your Personalized Status information a script? I know there is an event for when it changes, but I want to know if there is a way to determi...

RE: Script CRC check (detect if script was hacked/modified without permission)
I know, eh. It is a pain. And he doesn't do it that often, but when he does, he'll tack his change to the end where I can't see it. We are a small company here, and sometimes he needs to do something as a Domain Admin. When he is given access he...

RE: Script CRC check (detect if script was hacked/modified without permission)
The script ensures that if I go away without locking my pc, my personal message cannot be changed. If it is changed, then it will be reset to what I want. Also, I have my Plus preferences locked with a pwd. But If I were not running that script, so...

Script CRC check (detect if script was hacked/modified without permission)
Does msgplus have the ability (or can it be added) to do something like a CRC check of an enabled script to verify that it has not been modified/hacked. I currently have a problem with a childish co-worker, that I thought I took care of by writing a ...

Does anyone else have problems trying to browse the Sound Pack database, and/or do searches there. I have tried for quite some time and have had little luck. I also don't seem to get much response from my inquiries, or maybe I do, and I can't tel...

RE: Locking Personal Message
I am less worried about my desktop background as others on MSN will not see it, besides even though they act childish sometimes, they still have to behave somewhat professionally. The problem with locking my computer is that I get pulled away from i...

RE: Locking Personal Message
That is not exactly what I was looking for, but if it is my only option, then I guess it is better than what I have now. I really only care to prevent my personal message from changing. I imagine there is no built in way to do this then. Is it pos...

Locking Personal Message
Is it possible to lock down the personal message to make it difficult for people who pass by my pc to change my message. Apparently there are "children" at my office who find it fun to change my personal message on me when I step away from my PC fo...

RE: E-mail Accounts
I have this exact problem, but the mail server is definitely up. It is my work mail server, and it worked properly with MsgPlus 3.63. I even compaired the settings in the registry as best I could, and they are the same. Any Suggestions?

BBCodes and MsgPlus 3.63
Does MsgPlus 3.63 understand and display text properly using BBCodes? I ask this because I know several people that have an nonXP OS and cannot upgrade soon. If not then this means that I cannot properly communicate with them since I have Live. Also,...

RE: Petition to save Messenger Plus!
Personally I think that many emails (however 20,000 is probably a bit much) would just support the petition and give it more legitimacy to the MSAS team. Personally I did not expect ALL of the MsgPlus users to email MSAS about it. I expected that o...

RE: Petition to save Messenger Plus!
First of all I totally disagree that it would be no use. Who do you think the antispyware team would be more likely to listen to, it's users or one person who sends a list with people's names on it (with comments). I admit it is a very large li...

RE: Petition to save Messenger Plus!
I signed the petition as well. I think it is just terrible the MS does this. It appears that they don't even try to work with anyone to get them off of the list. The only problem with using Counterspy is the MS AntiSpyware is very similar & it's ...
