RE:
I think that comments should be optional unless the vote is on the extreme good side or on the extreme bad side that will stop votes based on personal vendettas and "friends" votes (friends voting for friends)

RE: My working plugin! Colourer!
if it gets the job done... who cares!:refuck: Seriously though, Cookies way is the more reliable of the two but because its only positioning the cursor Sendkeys rarely fails. edit: I wouldn't use sendkeys for anything else tho. (Damn i edit too much...

RE: My working plugin! Colourer!
It is not recommended, meaning avoid it where possible, but it isn't dangerous if it is doing something simple like positioning a cursor. (also the VB example forms (like the login dialog and about dialog) use this to position the cursor at the end ...

RE: My working plugin! Colourer!
If your using VB this will solve your beginning of line problem (change text1 to name of your control) Text1.Setfocus Sendkeys "{End}"

RE: Let's talk again about code sharing
Well here's what i think: A messenger hook-dll is a good idea however it will become out of date and (knowing microsoft) not work when Messenger 7 comes out and i don't think Patchou would have time to keep updating it to work with messenger Releas...

RE: File Organiser Plug-in
I have just noticed a huge bug in the newer version of the plug-in. It basically assumed that files that have been moved, have not, so it tried to move them and you got an error. Well here is the bug fix. Just one thing you may need to remove all yo...

RE: File Organiser Plug-in
Ah if it only were as simple as: Sresult = "" You are right in theory but Sresult isn't processed until the function is finished so in /xorgfiles it has to finish performing the function (organising files) before it sends Sresult (even if Sresult ...

RE: File Organiser Plug-in
If by done something you mean a delay then yes it does. The delay is just getting a list of files from the Received Files folder and moving the appropriate files. This delay depends on how many files are there and how big the files are.

RE: VB Help With /Commands
I really cannot understand why it won't work then, everything seems to be fine, unless it is capitalisation. If so just change: sResult = Replace(sCommandArg,"%cpu", CPUSpeed) into sResult = Replace(lcase(sCommandArg),"%cpu", CPU...

RE: VB Help With /Commands
Have you actually got code to get the CPU Speed? because the code i posted will not actually work "off the shelf" for two reasons. 1) I did not declare the variable CPUSpeed 2) I did not put the actual code to get CPU Speed. (I don't know how) I...

RE: VB Help With /Commands
Ah i think i understand what you mean so you would want to show CPU speed for example but in the format the user wants. Perhaps a tag is better than this instead of a command so instead of the user typing: /xtest My Computer zooms at %cpu The user w...

File Organiser Plug-in

RE: Personal reactions to recent news
Totally agree with Patchou there. If M$ own and pay for the servers why shud other companies complain when the protocol is being changed, they really don't have a say in the matter.
