RE: Messenger Plus! 3 - news
I couldn't read the entire thread (it's long!:|), but I skimmed through it all. I have 3 things to say: 1. Congrats and good luck, Patchster. 2. Umm, about the quoter thingie, will it be possible to just insert the quote into the IM editbox...

RE: Server down
 Anyway, I hope it all turns out OK for the server, and I pity the emotionally impaired people who do things like this.

RE: Netscape = illness?
I dislike Real too. Fortunately, it seems like it's almost gone from the world, so I don't have it. :) Now it's mainly QuickTime vs. Windows Media. I agree that some people exaggerate with the Microsoft-bashing. SP2 will bring tabbed browsing/down...

RE: Netscape = illness?
I think there are some good reasons to be bashing Microsoft.... Some of their software can get really frustrating. The thing is, they don't fix or improve their software once it is popular: When was Windows XP/Internet Explorer last improved (beside...

RE: Status
Well, there's a precompile option to use MD5, but A. The Services' configuration script said it's an experimental feature, B. passwords can't be retrieved that way, and C. the server shouldn't be getting hacked in the first place! :'(

Gilmore* :p For me it's a hard decision.... I love many movies. Action films: The Lord of the Rings, Terminator II (I'm crazy about this movie). Heh, I liked "Back to the Future" too. ;) I also liked the old generation Star Trek movies, and Star ...

RE: Windows XP SP2?
It's the first part of the most common pirate activation code for Windows XP. It's been around since XP was released (and even before that;)), so Microsoft blocked the SP1 update for the people who use it.

RE: Windows XP SP2?
1. a. Which of these installs be available on Windows Update? b. What's slipstream? o_O The only "slipstream" I know is a weather phenomenon. :-/ 5. And it shows... that's why I'm complaining. :'( /slap Microsoft

RE: Windows XP SP2?
Seems like a nice update.... I'd love to get rid of all of these Hotfixes in the "Add/remove Programs" list... So messy. :p BTW, do new Windows XP CDs include SP1? And will it be the case with SP2? :-/ Now for some replies... :p There's no way on...

RE: Let's make it easier for the general public to notify the translators of errors
That button could also be included in the Language section of the Preferences Panel.... Anyway, sounds like a nice idea. Good luck implementing it. :refuck: :p

RE: Time to forgive?
   DJM is dodgy. :dodgy: He's kinda deceitful from my experience. He can talk nicely to people and say he's sorry and "won't do it again", and sound pretty charming and convincing at that... but then he's not true to his word....

RE: "edited" location
It can't be confused with the signature when it's on the same line as the IP thingie, as I said... :-/ Though it's kinda messy, it would look differently on different resolutions and stuff.... So it's not such a good idea I guess. :-/

RE: "edited" location
Blah, the IP thingie already wastes some space with no reason... I mean, most users don't care about it. :-/ How about having it alongside the IP thing? Perhaps align it to the left? :-/ Though on the other hand, if someone has a long signature it w...

RE: Possible solutions for "We were unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger" (0x81000370)
Excellent thread, but there are some mistakes in the title.... IMO it should be something like this: "We are unable to sign you into the .NET Messenger Service", 0x81000370

Talking about RC1, wasn't this board supposed to be upgraded to it like 2 weeks ago? :-/ Oh, and does the "reputation system" replace the old user ratings? :abubu:

RE: 'Rating' page suggestion
Ummm, allow me to go off-topic for a moment, I didn't want to start a new thread. I have a really small myBBug (:chrongue:) to report: When a thread is locked and a non-privileged user clicks the "quote" button next to some post in it, the error p...

No snow here, [s]never[/s] ever. :p Never gets below +5 degrees Celcius, and that too is kinda rare. Well, I mean, it's too bad there's no snow, but hey - it's not freezing, we have a very comfortable weather in the winters. :) Summers th...
