RE: Petition to save Messenger Plus!
Just a question - will this be recycled paper and how much does one petition take up? I signed but I don't want to be wasting valuable trees :P

RE: MY CG Movie
Man I wish I could produce that kind of stuff... I can't afford the software to do it though, although I'm getting quite fluent with blender. What I really need is something better than my 2ghz celeron so that I can p...

If I had the nerve I'd keep 10 grand and give the rest to charity.

RE: msg plus forum on my psp
Depending on the strength of that hinge you could hold it by the keyboard and type with your thumbs. By the way, how crap does the big SPACE label on the spacebar look :P

RE: Blueyonder broadband question
I'm assuming power cycling is putting the modem through its power cycle i.e. reboot it. I think your IP only changes if someone else needs your old one which in always-on broadband terms is relatively rarely. If you need to keep one, get an ethern...

RE: Google talk plus?
Judging by the overly spacious options dialog and the early beta stage this thing is in I wouldn't be too quick to add features to Google Talk - they will probably appear as standard soon. For example I can't believe that they're making the effor...

RE: Simple PHP code help
I presume you mean perl. PHP is a form of CGI and as it performs the same workflow stage as perl yes it can do all the same things. Now somebody's going to come and yell at me since PHP doesn't have to be a webserver module :P

RE: google could become illegal in canada
Afaik breaking copyright isn't a crime anyway, it's a civil offence. Two different courts (A) To be honest this seems to be more some lawyer trying to get attention by saying something controversial like this. I guess it worked.

RE: [self-split] tables vs. divs
Looks like a table to me. It has a header and two rows, one of which is divided into two columns. It's also in common with other more tabular contents. I should also point out that the latest version of mybb uses a default skin that is much more ...

RE: [self-split] tables vs. divs
tbh, WHY are you even wasting the typing energy to convert a thread into divs :-/ it is TABULAR DATA. you're discussing all these different tricks to make the layout resemble a TABLE. apart form anything else, the divs don't hilight in the same way...

RE: Sug: Poll Bump
IMO no. I can understand wanting it for Poll Centre in a way, but really the poll centre is for getting an idea of public opinion, particularly for the thread poster. If it's of communal interest or something you'd want to check back about to se...

RE: Messenger Plus! on Wikipedia.org (you can help!)

RE: IE-Spyad blocks Plus! website
You should point out to him that it's not the full LOP.com package at all. In my view it's far from malicious since it's completely removable and not that harmful anyway.

RE: Scientists create flat speakers
I'm assuming that the more bass you add the bigger the connector on the cloth has to be. Still, I could see some amazing uses for something like that.

RE: I Wanna Become A Better Member
I think old-time members who are refusing to sign this are making a big mistake. Half the problem that I see with the community at the moment is people complaining about the community itself. It will become even more divided if people aren't prepa...

RE: Searching for domains
Indeed you could find out about domain names that aren't meant to be public. But google does that anyway, when a new domain is added to the dns register it goes to the domain to try crawling it straight away. Some spammers do the same, and send em...

Searching for domains
I was wondering if anyone of a site or technique that can find domains in a whois database based on the name or address or other whois details attached to the domain. I need a list of domains that someone has registered. Cheers :)
