Confirmed. If you drag a file (e.g. from the desktop) onto one of the (online) contacts names in the contact list, the formatting is lost. Close MSN Messenger, go to the directory you installed it to, e.g. harddrive:\\Program files\MSN Messenger\ and delete the files logo.gif and lvback.gif if they are in there.
