Bah! April Fools... I've seen this exact joke before, just with a different program.

RE: Lag in Counter Strike Source.
Well I use a router and have a slower connection and a slower computer than you, so I'm not sure if I can help you, cos it works for me. I didn't need to open any ports for it to work. :S

RE: The undeletable file
I had the exact same problem recently and this helped me. With safe mode I could only delete 2 out of the 3 files. Anyways, it's good that you could get it fixed another way :)

RE: Computer Problem
Ad-watch is related to Adaware, so I don't think it should be a problem. Still, try disabling it and see what happens.

RE: Lag in Counter Strike Source.
Alrighty then... how fast is your connection? If you are playing on 56k then you might as well forget it.

RE: Webcam streaming!
My dad once had his TV from the tv card coming through the webcam stream. The funny thing is is that he couldn't get it back to the camera. Something was seriously messed up :P.

RE: MPWinamp 0.80 Plugin
Sweet, I hope it fixes that crashing problem good. Also the download from optus (australia) doesn't work at sourceforge.net. I think that is out of your control tho, I'm just letting you know. edit: Oh I just thought of something... If there is a f...

RE: MPWinamp 0.80 Plugin
Nice work, I was wondering when this plugin would get updated. I shall test it out and see if I can break it ;) edit: Ok, at first I thought it wasn't working, but then I restarted MSN Messenger after I set the settings for MPWinamp, and it worked. ...

RE: Annoying Oversize Display Picture
Well this is probably the reason why Microsoft have made it in MSN Messenger 7 that it resizes all pictures. Unfortunately that is, because oversized pictures can be very good if they are not abused. There should be an option somewhere to turn it off...

RE: Firefox
Just thought I would bump this to announce that Firefox 1.0 is out. Well thats in case you didnt realise, but I'm sure most people would have already known. You will probably have trouble downloading extentions and themse, as the mozilla servers are...

RE: MPWinamp 0.80 Plugin
The way I see it is that it is usually always a good idea to upgrade to the latest version of programs. Sooner or later you will have to upgrade, so I don't see any reason not to now. Well not now, but you know what I mean.

RE: Windows Codename Longhorn - Really revolutionary?
Well from what I have seen from other screenshots too, is that I don't really like the interface. It seems they have gone backwards form XP. I don't know, I guess using it will be a different experience, and the fact that it is still in development...

RE: MSN Music vs iTunes
I don't buy music online, but I wouldn't go with the MSN music store because they use WMA files. I really don't like the format.

RE: Windows Codename Longhorn - Really revolutionary?
Didnt they take out the new file system because it was going to take them too long?

RE: Winamp notifier
Oh ok. I think there is a plugin for winamp called Toaster or something. It looked good, but all the skins I use already have notifiers, so it doesnt bother me.
auhsorPlug-Ins10-31-2004 at 07:03 AM
RE: Winamp notifier
It could be done pretty eisily I think. Well not by me, cos I don't write plugins (yet). MPWinamp can notify when your nick changes, so I guess that could be changed to show the song name. But why would you want this if you can just use winamps (bet...

RE: firefox help
Try going to tools>options>privacy There are options for passwords/cache/history etc there. Those might be able to help you do it automatically. If not, you can always press clear.

RE: firefox help
Yeah it is semi-configured. If I can remember correctly, if you click on a link that opens a new window, it does that, instead of a new tab as you would want it too. It's nice that they have fixed that as default.

RE: firefox help
That is very good news, and something that should've been built in ages ago. When you first download it, you wonder what all the fuss is with tabs if you have to use them manually. It's not until you get extensions like Tabbrowser Preferences thes...

RE: Mozilla Releases Firefox 1.0 RC1
I was reading about this release on the firefox forums. Apparently its not an official 1.0 RC1. It is a nightly build that just changed the version number for some reason. Sites took that as being a new stable version, when it isn't. Official stable...
