What they are trying to say is that if you DON'T have the tabbed chat activated, messages in the taskbar WON'T alert you that someone left the convo, because MSNM knows the difference between a message and a notification. Well I think you could be right. I think I'll disable that toolbar and use the shortcuts (even if it takes more time).
