RE: CSS Stylesheet help
Yeah I know what you mean and agree somewhat, about keeping it the same size, and keeping text legible. But I have found that its possible to use relative sizes and for it still to be legible at different resolutions and such (I am not sure how this ...

RE: CSS Stylesheet help
I would leave them separate as there is no way to combine the 2 and have different colours. Is it really a problem to have them separate? Oh Cookie, you are usually spot on with all your advice, but sadly not so here. Using absolute sizes for fonts ...

RE: CSS Stylesheet help
a:link { color: #ff0000; } is surely better. In fact, you can write that colour in shorthand as a:link { color: #f00; } ;) Also I would say that only using Verdana as a font is possibly a bad idea. I know Verdana is a cross platform fon...

RE: Euro 2004 - (Portugal)
Gutted. Truly gutted. Don't play Heskey, he's rubbish. Should have brought on Nicky Butt to boost up the midfield. Beckham's penalty was rubbish as well. He only needs to look at Zidane's to find out how to do it properly. Oh well :-/

RE: FTP
I tried a few and ended up using FlashFXP. Its not free, but its a great FTP client and its getting better all the time. Be sure to try out a few before you decide on one. What is right for me, might not be right for you :...

RE: What firewall do you use?
I tried ZoneAlarm, but didn't really like it. Then I was recommended Agnitum Outpost by someone at work, and I've never looked back. Great bit of software, and uses the least amount of resources of all the software firewalls I remember reading :) T...

RE: Auto-accept everything --> PRIVACY ?!
I understand what he is saying. I am happy to have auto-accept turned on for file transfers, but would prefer more control over webcams, games etc. If I recall correctly, Patchou mentioned wanting to add a finer grain control over the auto-accept fun...

RE: New theme!
Top job guys. When Guido does something, he does it well. Well done to WDZ as well. Who would of thought he could be so non-lazy ;) It will take a bit of getting used to, as all things do, but I think the new look will be staying with me. The fades a...

RE: are these new? or am i slow as hell?
To be honest I had never noticed them either. So I wondered the same as you Kao. I never really look at the main page any more. My time is spend in the far more useful (to me anyway) latest posts page :) I suppose they could be useful for some people...

Be nice to all the new posters? /sevillaugh... (6) Actually its a good point, and nice to see you have taken some action. There are plenty of us who are guilty of losing our tempers with some of these people. Hopefully we will all just point them to ...

RE: Computer fan's and temperature
It never hurts to have a bigger "thing". ;) Also known as heatsinks. They come in all shapes and sizes. The copper ones are very good, but are heavy and normally expensive. Try to look for a heatsink with an 80mm fan. It will be able to blow more ...

Command Helper window missing commands
I tried to find another post about this, but all I came up with was Sk3tch's post here. There seems to be a couple of commands missing from the Command Helper windo...

RE: The Best Web Browers?
I voted for Firefox. And I shall tell you exactly why, and how I came to this decision. I take a slightly different approach in that I do not think spouting a list of features is a great way to explain why one is preferable to another. I was a happy ...

RE: The cell phone I want to buy.
To be honest, I think Nokia has lost the plot a bit with its new phones. I remember back when there was a choice of about 4 or 5 phones and you knew the one you wanted. Now there is too much choice for my liking, and its confusing to keep track of th...

RE: Request: Combine Status Commands with Text
Or simply /back :P My way gives you a choice over what you decide to say when you come back online. I like using the parameter tag. :P But if all you are going to say is "Back" everytime, then Keystorm's way is much better :gfdrin:

RE: Request: Combine Status Commands with Text
You could do this with a quick text. Create a quick text in the Preferences using: /online #(!P) And set the alias to be called on or whatever. Then you can just do /on Back to achieve your desired effect :)
