It appears it wasnt random, the people who did it had a reason, they have something about the msn community. I dont know what. But it wasnt random. No One "HAcked" the servers. Its called a Distributed Denial of Service Attack. Basically, hundreds of computers try to access the site at the same time, in hopes to overload the server. Well. I use Visual C++ 6 and Visual C++ 7. As for a begginner ,you could start out with something like BASIC (its really old) the problem is that that language might ruin you. That would do it too. But you dont HAVE to use C++, (Although my choice is to use C++). You need to know a programming language and you need a compiler for that programming language, then you need to translate the headers from C into a programming language of your choice, and then write a DLL.
