Thank you for the replies :). There's 700 lines ofcode for this SSL option,I just hope they'll hold on (I'll have to make sure of that during internal beta testing).

As for the release of this version, there's no date yet butone thing is sure: it will be after the public beta release of Messenger 7. I want early Messenger 7 users to continueto enjoy Plus! and, more importantly, I want to add more new stuff in Messenger Plus! and it takes time.

Offcourse, just like 3.25 is still compatible with MSN Messenger 5

Of course this new version of Messenger Plus! is backward compatible! only a very fewsubset of features will require Messenger 7 (such as the colors in the contact list). I make a point to keep total backward compatibility, Messenger Plus! is and will stay compatible with Messenger 4, 5, 6 and 7, as long as these versions will be supported by Microsoft (meaning, as long as you'll be able to connect to Messenger with these clients).
