O.P. Enlarging images in MSN 7.0
I downloaded MSN 7.0, Messenger Plus! 3.4 and installed both
I also installed StuffPlug NG
I opened a conversatoin window, clicked in plus!, plugins, StuffPlug NG and finally configure
I enabled the oversized display pictures and tried to change my image
When I selected the picture, it opens a window where i can resize the picture
I click in optimal size and I enlarge it a little and click OK
After it, I click OK again to finish and return to the conversation window
But when I ask my friends, they say that the picture is in default size still...
Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks

Your friends also need to have StuffPlug-NG to see your over-sized DP.

This is because MSN Messenger 7 resizes the DP on their conversation window.

Hack, hack, hack!

Ah...
But in MSN 6.2 that was not necessary
I hope that the final version of MSN 7.0 may not need this to others see my oversized display picture
Thanks Leo!

I think Microsoft made these changes on purpose. TBH, i'm glad they did it. I find it very irritating when somebody's DP takes up a huge part of my screen. My opinion is: your DP is showing on my screen, so i decide how big i want that DP to be.

Microsoft won't do anything to get big DP's without StuffPlug back, so it's up to TB to do it. It may be very hard or even impossible though, didn't follow the latest StuffPlug news.

More info on this can be found here.

So, Menthix, you mean that even in the final version of MSN 7.0, it will be necessary for others to also have StuffPlug NG to see my oversized picture?

Yes, unless TB (creator of StuffPlug) finds out another method for oversized DP's that bypasses the new MSN7 security. But i doubt that, i guess ovesized DP's with StuffPlug only on one side is just history.
