I need a good program that tells local weather like on the desktop, but not Weatherbug... just something i don't like about it

There isn't really anything, but I think ObjectDock has a feature, and if you go to www.stardock.com, then there is DesktopX, that has lots of widgets inc. several weather rss feed ones.

There is only one good piece of software for this:

I know this is not for your desktop, but ForecastFox is an excellent plug-in for Mozilla Firefox.

object dock has a good one as said above, only it's not supported for canada

kapsules is a widget engine that can display weather, as well as other information. http://kapsules.shellscape.org
