Is there a limit to the messages it will reply?

There is a limit to the number of letters and numbers you use though

Maybe try cutting down the size of some of your messages and see if you can add more

Yep there is a limit, as described in Messenger Plus! Change Logs: 2.10.34 Version -  02/05/2003, that you can only use 9 multiple away messages in one personalised status. And I remember that this never changed since then
