... no, WAN is the connection from the "wall" (it's either an ethernet connection or a phoneline connection depending on whether or not the router has a modem built in) and the other four ports are LAN.

Well yes, i mean the cord from the modem goes into a certain spot, but i think our routers are all reverse to that, cuz on the front the lights are inside a WAN bracket thing.
