yea.. hp and lexmark tend to make up for cheap printers through their prince of ink! I have a old HP PSC 1400, works like a charm but if your looking for cheap printers you can check out Epson’s CX3810 at futureshop... that is if you are from canada! (judging from the currency) they go around for 80 CND

Not really.. if you intend on using them for regular activities... like printing documents/small pictures... then you can go with an average one, but if you are interested in something like an all in one printer.. they are usually more expensive... and a step up from that is the laser printer... but for normal use... i'd just got with a normal inkjet
If you're able to get a good deal with a laser printer, I'd go for that. All in ones might be good, and practical for all their abilities, but my lexmark's just killing me when comes the time to buy ink. I have about 90$ CND of ink every 2 or 3 months. It is a total waste.
