As for the rebooting problem, I just came across this knowledge base article which discusses this update. Apparently this update resolves a problem where the computer stops responding or restarts unexpectedly when you play video games or perform desktop operations.

it's a windows notification, and all my drivers are up-to-date with vista

...and even windows notifications can be faked (most likely, anyway), a simple C++, C#, VB and most other coding platforms can do it.

ok nevermind about my problem, i fixed it by reinstalling windows...

what a genious , i have the same problem it does it everytime i delete  a torrent or i shut down wlm ... :\
