First of all, I have an extended warranty that I paid money for Chris. I have had problems with the webcam before and it was a physical problem and its the same again

My keys have come off before and they have replaced the keyboard, my charger hs blown before and they replaced it. All for free of charge.

Don't forget i paid for this warrenty like £200

just because you paid £200 for a warranty, doesn't mean they're going to cover you breaking your own  laptop. missing physical keys from a laptop is a HUGE indicator that any damage is accidental.

ShawnZ, keys have come off before and i have sent it back and they fixed it with no problems!

Everyone else: I tried reinstalling xp and it keeps corrupting itself so its defiantly the hard drive.

I will be sending it back tommorow

Actually, accidental damage coverage like Dell Total Care will usually fix/replace anything, no questions asked. 

I know someone who intentionally threw their Dell Total Care covered laptop out the window to get a fresh replacement -- he did.  It's really an insurance policy more than warranty, and as long as there's not an axe still stuck in the remains you send them, they can't prove and won't even try to claim the damage was intentional.

Ycopy will do the job without asking if you want to skip anything, and saves everything that can't be copied in a txt file so you can know.
