like how to install neon lights and how to do case mods?

not to install mod-chips.

Modding a PS2 is illegal, looking at a site telling you how is not.

Actually - it's not illegal to mod a console - it's your console (thought it may void the warranty). It is, however, illegal to use mods to rip/copy games.


Case mods don't even fall near that category (though they still void the warranty. Oppening the case, no matter what, voids the warranty)

I'm glad I'm not the only person that thinks this

I know that, but I'm talking about a case mod to make illegal copies of a disc  and that the case mod doesn't fall near that

you void the warranty but that doesnt make it illegal
