With registry hacks I was only able to get IE7 to two lines.

Where as with IE6 and Firefox you can get the browser to a single line for maximum viewing and no clutter.

Im not saying IE7 is a bad browser, but it was released to compete against Firefox.
Not everyone has the same preferences.
When you have to hack the registry to
1. Move the Menu bar to the top
2. Remove the seach bar
3. Disable the command bar
There is a problem.
These options should already be there.
When you are squaring off against Firefox, you really cant afford to cut corners in customization.
I know it was possible to do, I did it with the registry.
