Getting rid of Windows Messenger!! HELP

O.P. Getting rid of Windows Messenger!! HELP
ok ok... first of all i wanted to get rid of windows messenger but i couldnt find it on add or remove list... so i decided that i would just delete it from program files.... but now every time i restart computer it says Couldnt find application C:/Program Files/messenger.... blah blah blah so anyways how do i view what my computer does once i start it? cuz i want to delete the windows messenger... please help

Deleting an application is NEVER a good idea. At least uninstall it in the proper way....

You should reinstall Windows Messenger to fix the mess, and you might be interested in: CookieRevised's reply to I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger

all i did was rename the windows messenger folder and it stoped it running and then whenever i need it i just rename it back to what it was before

yes... Although I wouldn't recommend it... you can use MessengerDisable, but read carefully that link I posted first...

why not just Hide Windows Messenger? in Set Access Defaults Program.  by uninstalling Messager makes the OS unstable.

He said he wouldn't recommend deleting it, he said to uninstall it.

My Computer > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components. Untick windows messenger in there, and it will get rid of it, but do not, delete the windows messenger folder.
