O.P. Web messenger
plus contact on desctop doesn't take into effect when someone is using web messager. It currently shows normal green man. It should show attached image.
Will this be fixed in next version patchou?

i dunno now i know what that icon means thats great but as for knowing if there will be a fix in the next version of plus i cant say. i have only seen that icon on my contacts when i was using msn messenger 7.0 since downgrading to 6.2 i havent seen it again. how does one access web messenger anyways?

The icon means that your contact is using the Official Web based Messenger from Microsoft.

Note:
Now this only happens when using Microsofts Web based Messenger and no others.
It will be fixed i bet once Patchou sees the tread.

Actually, i hope he doesn't change it, because now you can finally "see" what your contact's status is, instead of only seeing that blue thingy (no matter what their status is, online, away, busy, etc)

Using the Plus! Tweak program you can have your floating contacts display their actual status. Busy/Away/BRB whichever (example you block them and want to see their status. You can)

Thats not entirely correct, AFAIK you can see this with most messengers, I can see it when I use msn 6.2 (which is constantly)..

hmm, new feature of plus should be the ability to pick that as your icon, i want to feel special, haha

it can't be fixed, unless you do packet sniffing or stuff like that.
