RE: DAM POP UPS
Look. Get all 3, update all 3, scan with all 3 and the problem is solved. There is no need to say one is better since unlike antiviruses the more you use the better.

As Firefox becomes more popular though, I'm sure we'll be seeing more firefox spyware.
I'm not so sure. A lot of spyware uses ActiveX to get installed, and FF doesn't support it without an add-on.

Some extensions have popped up for Firefox which are attempted to be forcefully installed and add search bars and display popups etc

I hardly get any popups since i've been using Firefox.
Is it just me, or is IE with SP2 better than Firefox in blocking pop-ups?
Tell me if you don't get any pop-up when you open this site using Firefox without any additional extension.

RE: DAM POP UPS
Whenver i go on mess.be the IE bar pops up to tell me the pop up's blocked. I occasionally get a small annoying pop up but they're gone

I can't believe you guys forgot about this program: Spyware Blaster.
That will stop all the warnings coming up saying, "Do you want to install so and so". It only stops the baddies and has a HUGE database.
I have never gotten a bad install since! And I don't get spyware/adware etc any more.
