i was just wondering about how many people form diferent places connect through this site and i was just thinking on wat are u guys' conection speeds? (internet)
mine is
3Mbps downstream
256Kbps upstream
and this the company that provides it for me Charter
just list what u guys have im curious to see how are some others people services.

i dunno the specifics but i got a 300k download rate . and im with ntl. i could get a free upgrade to 1Mb but i would get a crappy 5 Gb a month download limit

u get a download limit?!!! in what country is this?

UK. most companies here if they are popular give a download limit every month or so. it accounts for everything from using torrents to loading images on sites

Unless you do a lot of filesharing, you shoudn't get anywhere near this limit.

I'm on 2Mbit NTL cable broadband myself. Not sure about the upload/download split, but it's probably the same speed both ways unlike ADSL.

Update: Just did a test using the site linked to below:
Download - 2Mb/s
Upload - 200kb/s

well ntl are gonna start the limits at the end of the year. for the 1 Mb connection its 5Gb a month and for the 2Mb connection is 1Gb a day which would suit me but my parents wont upgrade to that

5GB a month, are they serious? i could go through that easily in under a week

im on 8mbit down and 1mbit up, im thinking about upgrading to 20mbit down, its ony 10 euros more...


oh... and no cap


im at 5gb a week without p2p
