is there any software that can allow me to have a bigger desktop resolution right now i have 1024 x 768 but i want something that will allow me to have more things on my desktop,

Can't you set it by going to desktop, right click -> Properties -> Settings and set it from there?

it wont go any further i only have 800 x 600 and wat i have right now

dpends on your screen, your drivers, and also your video card...

so i cant somehow tweak my video card or anything?

get the most recent drivers for it..and if that doesnt work get a new video card

ya if you get a good video card and/or get a big moniter there should be many more screen resolutions avaliable to your computer.

You could tweak the size of the icons in your desktop to a smaller size.

no, i will just buy a new video card, but i heard that some monitors cant display certain resolutions so idk if mine will be able to do it

Yeah, i have a Geforce4 MX wich can go up to 2048 or something like that, but my ex-monitor only supported 1024x768, then i got a new one wich supports 1248x1024
