O.P. Loading JAVA applet Faild
Ok umm i dont know when this happend or why.

But i'm trying to open a site that contains a java applet but this applet didnt load, so i tried another site , also same thing.

so then went to internet options , check the security options, all is fine and java is allowed, same in Advanced option all are ticked.

so then i decided to check a local java applet, so i opened a page on my computer , that also has a java applet , and it worked.

so what may cause that, do i have to update the java runtime! or what, i dont think that, cause local appletes worked:s

i have no fire wall, and i just have AV and MASW

Thanks in advance

edit:this is what i get in the java consol

load: class IRC.class not found.

RE: Loading JAVA applet Faild
There are still websites basing applets on Microsoft Java, not Sun Java...wich might be why some java applets load and others may not.

If you think it's only you, post a link to that specific website so others can try too.

ok hey , no Sunshine, the same websites used to work just days ago!! for example http://www.auditmypc.com/internet-speed-test.asp , and i again repeat :) the if i'm browsing local java applets to be more specific , in my documents i have an IRC chat example, and it's java, when i open the html file the java applet loads, but the same file if it's online it doesn't. NB not only this file  for example the link i mentioned up is also another sample.

thanks in advance

RE: Loading JAVA applet Faild
That applet loads for me, could you have accidently told your browser not to open java applets? I know i can in my browser (Avant), it's in the list under settings for me.

If you are sure that you're security settings are allowing Java applets, check that a firewall isn't blocking them.

I'm not sure, but there might be seperate settings for different zones. Check the security tab in Internet Options, instead of the advanced tab.

The JRE must be installed and working properly, because your local applet is loading. The same applet isn't wouking online, in any browser, so I'm guessing it is a firewall blocking thrm from reaching you're computer at all.
