Have you tried opening the websites in Internet Explorer?

Please use your eyes.. i've mention it 2/3 times that i've tried in Internet Explroer and Firefox.

traxor, can you please don't post about your own configuration, we know it's working, that's why he posted... and he already tried in IE, no luck...

you can use HOSTS to manually configure the server IP... click here to know how to do it.

basically you just have to add this line to the file
code:
download.com 216.239.115.148
www.download.com 216.239.115.148
cnet.com 216.239.115.131
www.cnet.com
if you need more IP addresses, just ask.

also note that this is a temporary issue and you should consider contacting your ISP about possible problems.

How do I edit that file? I tried in notepad but then it just saves as host.txt and doesnt replace the file.

edit: Woo! Done it! Replaced the hosts file with the one provided on the site and Viola! works!

Hopefully thats the end of it and won't have any more problems!!!
