i would do but this comupter has an AGP slot and the one i have built has only PCI and PCI-E, along with an intel processor and the one i have built is AMD, so im a bit stumped.

can you hear the computer boot up normally?
the cpu fan works, not too sure about the CPU, as far as i know it is booting up properly, but there is not the usual beep to tell me that the core parts are working....

yes and no, i used static bags to rest parts on, touched an earthed thing every 15mins and felt no static shocks, but didnt use one of those special anti-static bands: after reading many discussions on it i decided not to, but to atleast enforce some protection.
