Check and see if you have a 169.254 address (Start > Run > CMD > ipconfig) if you do, then that means that your PC isn't getting an address from the DHCP server (either your ISP or the router) Try powering your PC off, disconnecting the power from your PC and pressing the power button once (that drains all power) then power off your modem for 30s, power on the modem, then power on your PC. you should get an IP address
