O.P. Vista: Yes or NO?
OK, my computers been really problematic and i'm thinking of just going to vista ( i know its not a virus, or spyware, scans ruturn nothing), i'd just like to know people pros and cons about vista, also, how easy is it to upgrade, will i lost my files?

no you wont lose files if you upgrade, but i uggest installing on new drive, if u like it upgrade xp

well i have 2 drives that i use, so will instaling on my H:\ mess up the H:\ and its files at all?

i think it will, because u need to format before install, maybe you should install on a blank partition?

I would say, back up all of your stuff. Then format and install Vista. But then again, its upto you

the only reason i have are the system requirements... i dont have the money to buy me a new computer... so i'll use my win xp for a loooooooooooooooooooong time

Install it on a seperate drive, or make a new partition on your existing drive. I won't upgrade it, since it's still a BETA version and contains a bunch of unfixed bugs. And if you don't like it anymore, you just delete that partition!
