Then you are very special and you have another WLM9 than me, Sunshine, and a whole bunch of other people.....

So it works for you?

It works here too.

I really suggest you test the scripts first, and not post a request to update every Plus! script as you did when MP!L 4.50/WLM 9.0 was released, when those scripts worked perfectly fine.

Nice script, I like it

I have a few remarks and questions though...

I have to (partially) disagree here,
It does work with tabbed chats for the title bar icon.
However, the icon on the taskbar button is not changed. It's still this green online icon with the text balloon over it. Stuffplug has the same problem.

StuffPlug changes the icon next to your contact's nickname in the convo windows (top left, title bar not showing), any chance this script will do the same in the near future?

I have to second this. I tried your script, as I was thinking abount removing StuffPlug, but this is what is still missing.

That requires skinning....

It changes the image of that image object. StuffPlug has ways to access those objects. But since all objects and controls in Messenger are windowless, you can't get the handle to it and thus this isn't possible with scripting.

It works with tabbed chats. The purpose of this script is to change the title bar icon.

Which results in the taskbar button icon to be changed also, but that is actually a side-effect, not the main purpose. Since that icon is the same as the one used on the title bar, by default.

However, with tabbed chats, Plus! takes all the chat windows and puts them into an invisible window. It is this invisible window which makes tabbed chats possible and which 'controls' the tabs. Thus, it is the icon of that invisible window you'll see on the taskbar.

To change this you need to do something like I've done with my "Tabbed Chat Taskbar Button Changer" script. And, to do it properly, it would probably also require you to catch window focus changes, which is AFAIK not possible with scripting.

;)

explained before in this thread I think
