Hey, im probably going to be buying this computer soon, and i wanna know what you guys think. Is it good enough for the average gamer, and should i add/customize any parts?

Why, is 8600 bad, my budget is anything under £1250 or so, so have you gotm anything better to recomend me?

Thats just common sense.
Grab the 2nd comp Alex pointed out. Thats is plenty for the adverage gamer.

If you can wait a few months (2 or 3), I read on neowin that Intel will start to ship it's new quad-core chips.
It might be a little more expensive than these pointed out of course, but if your budget allows it, why not.

You're being stupid, those are the old ones. They are just two dual core dies stuck together iirc. They are bringing out new ones like albert said.
