Yay for domain registrations. No thanks to my current registrar, looks like my current domain is going to expire before shit gets fixed and I'm hoping i can re-register it before some bot does.

I have been trying to transfer registration over the past 2-3 weeks, but the registrar won't let me because the bill for the renewal hasn't been paid. I'm not going to be paying it, because I'm not renewing with them. So to transfer the domain, I would need to pay my registration to renew with the current registrar for 1 year, and then pay the new registrar again for the same year, thus paying twice.

The invoice amount is £9.99. It was due on June 30 to renew the domain for time between July 22 2010 and July 21 2011. So even though it has not expired and paid for up until July 21, it seems I no longer own the domain nor have the ability to transfer it where I see fit.
