Because you don't know who is reading it...
Not posting/complaining about it and simply ignoring the problem is exactly what has been done in the past and the result is we still don't have a private forum for them.
Who knows, maybe WDZ will return tomorrow and read all this

Either way, have you done something yet with that googlegroup/mailingslist? Are you going to use it? Or have you something better in mind (would be great though)? If you're not going to use that mailinglist, say so and I'll remove it (or remove it yourself since you're also owner now
