O.P. RE: Background Shades on Preferences' Window
Here the screen shot of the preferences (as I said what appears in the shadow is whatever it is in the upper left cornner of the screen).
No, the problem doesn't happen in other windows of any other program (only in the preferences of messenger plus, in all the tabs there is a botton like those that appears in the screen shot). No, I do not have any program to make windows transparente or anything like that. I didn't try to reinstall the video drivers because this is the only problem I have, and drivers are the newest. NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 - Driver Version 4.5.2.3 (28/07/03). I had reinstalled Plus (donwloaded from the official site) and the problem continues.
