It would be an extremely complex plugin, but I like the idea.
As for the privacy issue "they don't know I am recording",
... who stops you to use video capture soft, take screenshots or shoot it with a digital or video camera?
If you allow someone to read/listen/view you, you know they will be able to do whatever they want with that. (Otherwise why doesn't MSN Messenger or Plus alert WE ARE LOGGING YOUR CONVOS!!! to other contacts?
