Thats exactly same as mine. Mine used to give an error that the command is not valid. But sorted that out.

I dunno if u need a pulgin or something for the ctrl+k function but mabbe thats the prob. Or she could just uninstall plus and reboot then reinstall plus. Mabbe even download a new file of plus! and then try it cause 4 me the installer gave an error but when i redownloaded it, it worked. So try that.
