"the sponsor program installs 2 searchbars in internet explorer, they can be quite useful at times, but for some reason many people don't like them so chose not to install the sponsor."

You have got to be kidding me. This was just one of about 150 adware/spyware/parasites that got loaded when one of my little kids clicked on something one evening.  Ground my computer's speed to a near halt. Quite helpful?  Have you checked your computer lately?
