If there's a load of spam constantly coming, and a ton of crappy posts it would stop it building up. Johnny_Mac, rarely comes anywhere near here any more, and the forum is getting a lot bigger, and quickly. We really need more moderators, not less!

Most forum members have the same opinions on what is spam and what isn't spam. As long as the members are chosen carefully, I think it could work.

The way the spam and floods of new members is going, it could be do or let the forum die.
There's a lot of decent members that could easily be mods and would do the job well. With little hassle and causes of problems. For example I believe that Sunshine would be a great moderator.
