I think you are getting a Trojan confused with a hijacker...

Hijackers boost the homepage to something you didn't accept or ask for,< like a pop up>. This happens on poorly moderated websites like porn and such... :pound:

Trojans can enter the same way but usually are unexpectedly run user end... meaning you would have to run it to install it in your comp. It leaves a vulnerability like a worm allowing remote access to an unspecified user, allowing them access up to and including the remote execution of files. As well as any sensitive info stored on your comp like passwords and credit card info.

Mess+ is not a hijacker as if you install with the sponser you will:
