WDZ, a suggestion: "Never hide threads i posted in", could you add that as an option in the hide forums list?
So when you would enable that and you have T&T hidden for example, it will still show the T&T threads you posted in. Could be done technically... you already have the "Show threads you posted in"... use that code but then only apply it on the hidden forums and mix it together with your existing hide forums code

I know i can use "Show threads you posted in", but i have to switch all the time. Would be nice to see the T&T threads you're interested in and still hide the senseless spam.
