RE: eBay - would you trust someone in a message not a bid?
mwe99: he can't as it is a violation of the seller's policy
may73alliance: the best thing you can do is return the email saying you cannot do what he/she is asking as it is again the rules and policies set out by ebay for seller and tell them that they would have to bid on it on the site. If thy want it badly enough, they'll bid through ebay and then at least you would get feedback too.
