I went to Netgear's site and I did a search on the forums - I found someone had exactly the same problem as you, but on closer inspection..

Did you read the reply that that guy posted? He gave you instructions on performing a hard reset. I think it is important to let them know that you can still connect to the internet through it as well - they may assume that you can't detect the router at all.
