Well - No, there really isn't anyway to remove fonts from startup as far as I know, and even if you could, it would have to load them at some stage if you wanted to use them.
My view is that if you need the fonts, then so be it, but if you have that many fonts and 760 RAM, you are not doing too badly, I accept that 15 is quite alot, but it could be alot worce. Maybe you couls have a seperate machine for designing, so you have a shorter startup time for your main machine, but as far as I know, I'm afraid it is something you are going to have to live with. You could give a defrag a go though, because if you have a few items on startup then it should have a noticable effect.
