Looking around the forums, it seems that the error appears when using MSN Messenger 7.5.x and MsgPlus! 3.54.0132 with Custom Names enabled or an old version of StuffPlug.
If you have "Custom Names" enabled, you could try disabling them before signing in. Or if you have StuffPlug,
download a version compatible with MSN Messenger 7.5.x (or simply uninstall/disable the plug-in for now).
Not sure if it's related, but it's worth a try.
