Quite honestly, I have the same problem. The thing is, the culprit is iexplore.exe. Some program keeps calling it to start again (I use Firefox and not IE now). I think it may actually be MSN Messenger, but I'm not totally sure. If anyone knows how to keep this from happening, I would be grateful, and I bet the OP would be, too, since we seem to be having the same issue.

Also, if anyone is willing to help me cut down on excess processes running, send me a PM. I have on average about 45 running and would like to know what else I can kill without killing my system.
