If you regulary need to add/remove a few contacts from that list, you better choose
"all, but the selected ones".
In that way you can simply tick the contact you don't want a notification for. And later simply remove the check mark again. Nothing more is needed (you don't need to change the main choice). New contacts added to the contactlist will also automatically be included in the filter list in that way.
