O.P. RE: nooooooo, popup problem for the first time in years!
i looked at the startup before, didnt see anything. now looks like I found some "dumb inter.exe", hopefully removing it and anything related will solve the problem
yup, after deleting it (and unlocking with unlocker) all files in the same folder nothing pops up when i launch ff and the iexplore.exes dont pop back up after being killed
