Accounts will not be deleted immediately. If you run the verification script and don't get an e-mail, you can contact a forum staff member to have your account activated. Members that never visit the board and don't take any action within a few months/weeks/whatever may be deleted. It wouldn't hurt to get rid of some of the inactive, non-posting members anyway.
