LCDs are dominant here volume-wise (they're not bulky ), but CRTs are dominant colour-wise (you get more accurate colours*)

So in the end, it probably comes down to:

Do you need the desk space, or do you need the accuracy**?

*I've never really tested this, I have a CRT, so my post itself may be inaccurate.

**I've heard a lot about this response-time thingo, which LCDs seem to be better at, so this also may be inaccurate.
